Flocked wallpaper for modern interiors

Flock wallpaper has a long decorative heritage, but Erica Wakerly takes a distinctly contemporary approach. Minimal pattern allows the inherent qualities of the flock to become part of the design, from the light-absorbing richness of black flock to the sculptural texture of white flock on a white ground.

The collection includes designs such as Pop and Sccop, where the velvety flock creates a striking 3D effect while adding warmth and tactility to the wall.

“My interest in flock goes back to my time at the Royal College of Art, where I learnt to flock fabric by hand. I was inspired to reinvent the technique, as I have done previously with metallics, and create an unexpected collision between motif and material.”

The velvet flock finish is inherently soft and comforting, and can help to soften the acoustics within a space. The wallpapers are robust, easy to install and commercially fire rated, making them suitable for both residential and commercial interiors.
